Edward Condon, MD, is a leading Internist and Endocrinologist currently serving patients at Edward Condon Medical PC and is affiliated with North Shore University Hospital and the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, hospitals in the Northwell System.

Dr. Condon has vast experience as a physician, having been in practice for more than 44 years. His long and successful medical career began in 1973 when he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico. After further training at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, Dr. Condon completed a residency at the Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York and then a fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center. Dr Condon was invited to be the senior research associate of Rosyin Yalow PhD. a Nobel laureate.

Dr. Condon is renowned internationally as a leading endocrinologist and a specialist in the treatment of diabetes and other disorders of the metabolism. Among the many other conditions treated by him are autoimmune thyroid diseases, hypercalcemia, goiter, osteoporosis, rickets, and Vitamin D deficiency. He is also noted for his expertise in the treatment of obesity. Recently Dr. Condon trained in Italy and Brazil to lead the implementation of Radio Frequency Ablation of Thyroid Nodules in New York. Condon Medical is one of only two practices in NYS certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine.

Dr. Condon currently serves as President of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology,Lower New York Chapter, and he is also a member of their National Legislative and Political Action Committee. He has led or served in more than 450 research investigations, and he is in high demand as a lecturer and public speaker.
