Dr. Shah is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. He is also a core Associate Professor of Radiology at Hackensack-Meridian School of Medicine in Nutley, NJ.

Dr. Shah graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ in 1992. He completed a General Surgery internship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center in New Brunswick, NJ followed by a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. Dr. Shah completed his training with a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Albany Medical Center.

Dr. Shah started ImagingInterventions, LLC in 2018, after 20 years in private practice. During this time, he performed over 10,000 thyroid biopsies and interpreted over 100,000 imaging examinations, including at least 20,000 ultrasounds of all body parts including thyroid, neck, abdomen, extremities, and vascular/duplex ultrasounds including carotid duplex, AAA, arm and leg dopplers (both arterial and venous), and renal artery duplex. ImagingInterventions, LLC is a super-specialty ultrasound imaging practice focusing on thyroid and neck ultrasound, thyroid biopsy, thyroid RFA, body ultrasound, and vascular/duplex ultrasound.
